From my "experience "I dont think many decisions are taken "meticulously". Rather it is the personality of the person who takes the decision which gets imprinted in a the way a company functions.
I think I am beginning to understand "How things work". It is very simple, it works because it has to work as it was to work. And who decides how it was to work is mostly the question which one should go after.
Let me make it clear, typically in a start-up the show is mostly run by the people who conceptualized the company. So how does it become a corporate entity? Definitely not when its revenue grows bigger. It starts becoming the transition, when there is somethings which cannot be handled anymore by just an aim, an ambition to succeed. It becomes a corporate when chasing a dream begins to end and living a dream begins to take shape. Many a times though the living part sucks when the chasing part leads you to a place where the dream was "not good enough". But when you stop chasing and begin living there is a tendency to let go the things which you considered vital.
So the question boils down to what is vital ? Confusing so am I :(
